My mother would roll over in her grave, some ads, really really risqué. (Lume) This world is getting strange!

Which adds might you be referring I watch a lot of tv in the evening USA, Canadian and European. USA has a lot of pharmaceutical commercials Canadian and British none but their commercials are much more enjoyable

You actually watch commercials? I don’t unless there is a cute funny animal in it. The attempted brainwashing ads try, doesn’t work for me. We record the shows we like, except maybe for news and skip all commercials when we play back. When it comes to live TV we put the TV on mute and it is time to get a cup of coffee/tea/snack/stretch/put away the dishes etc.

Oh LUME had to look it up and view online commercial, surprised they didn’t advise showering but that wouldn’t sell the product.

Many currently run ads are unpalatable to downright offensive as well as provide ridiculously false narratives and depictions making my DVR one of my best friends.

This is why we DVR everything so we can zap thru the commercials.

It's the ads for injury lawyers that cause me to yell at the TV. You know, "Dan got me a million." I want to know the backstory. Shouldn't that person be missing a limb, or something? Awful lot of settlement money for whiplash.

The Lume ads are among those that sometimes appear on youtube.com before your desired video (the type that usually give you the option to "Skip Ad" after a few seconds). If you're curious, you can look up "Lume ad" on youtube and take a look.
Lume offers a deodorant geared to one's personal body areas and is targeted towards women. Its ads include quips that are, shall we say, very "cheeky." Some find them offensive, some find them clever. With the Internet's algorithms able to determine where best to insert ads for the desired target demographic, if you are a man, you may never see the Lume ads pop up on their own.

I use UBlock and HTML 5 Autoplay disabler on my web browser, and don't ever see video ads unless I intentionally click on them. Text-based ads I don't see at all.

I find the pharmaceutical adds very funny as most of them involved possible death as a percentage of fixing your skin conditions, who would take them?

Exactly what my wife does. Even news shows.

IMO ABC evening news worse. Tell one report have 3 mins add. Tell couple more have 5 minute add. Another thing, notice how majority all have adds at same time. So, even it you switch channels you still get adds, some even the same add.

Most TV shows are disgusting nowadays anyway. It all started when they let Clark Gable say DAMN in "Gone With The Wind"...
Lots of "F-Bombs" in shows now.

My favorite is losing belly fat in your sleep if you take a pill before bedtime. No diet, no exercise needed. You may not wake up, but your belly will be gone. 😁

You mean the Barkley family in the Subaru commercials?
Google if you haven’t seen them. It will make the day of any cute animal lover.

I don’t find the Lume ads risqué at all. Although, I do find them a bit humorous. If you have never sweat in your genitalia region all day golfing, then you wouldn’t know what they were talking about on the ads.

Yeah I find the "TMI" ads the worst and most revolting/offensive. Everything from male sexual enhancement products (Roman - MLB, I'm looking at you!) to women's body sculpting razors for sensitive areas to pharm ads for rather serious medical conditions ans diseases.
As for the Lume ads, which I've never seen, if it's a deodorant product for body parts down below, I'd be very wary. Shower to Shower was included in the J & J cancer-causing lawsuit. I still remember their TV commercial jingle - "A sprinkle a day helps keep odor away! Have you had your sprinkle today?" :ohdear:

So, I was curious and googled the Lume commercial. Gross, yet hilarious.

Maybe won’t make any difference but I refuse to buy those products the ads represent…the ads are disgusting as well as some of the people..

I love commercials for , lets say, incontinence. They tell you all the possible side effects like fever, chills, rash , diarrhea. So would you rather **** in your pants or crap in your pants!! Haha
Also the one for I believe Venus female razors and the girls are standing in front of little potted bush plants!! OMG!.

I can't stand the EarGo hearing aid commercials. Do we really need such innuendos for hearing aids?
