We love thin-crust pizza with lots of healthy toppings. Our fave so far that we've tried in TV is at Cane Garden. Anyone have any recommendations for other great pizza spots?:wine:

Sorry, all mine are in Michigan & Chicago. The one they have at Red Sauce has been okay. The price is right. Mallory's isn't bad.

Pauly's in Spanish Springs has thin crust.
IF you put onthe right toppings, IN the right amounts, AND they cook it correctly, not toooo bad!
otherwise.........BELLEVIEW PIZZA

My husband and I like Giovanni's at Southern Trace and also Little Joey's which I think is in Bailey Plaza. But our favorite at this time is Tony's Pizza in Leesburg on 27. They have whole wheat if you are trying to be healthy!

Pauly's Pizza is good but to make it better tell them you want it "well done". It's worth the wait. You'll thank me.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have been eating pizza for a week straight here in MA as I get ready to head south to TV because in past winters the places I have tried in TV have not been what I was hoping for. I never tried the ones mentioned in this thread and I look forward to it.
As far as getting a pizza well done? I sometimes enjoy a pizza at the Great American Pub in Raynham, MA and when I get two+ toppings I order it "crispy". I will try that description at Pauly's :icon_hungry:

When I moved here in 2002, Southern Trace Plaza was in the planning stage of being built and I gather it was named such since it was, at that particular time, the southern-most edge of TV before they started to build South of Rte 466 which was all farmland where the buffalo roamed.

Tried Pauly's in SS last night. Forgot to tell them well done and was sooo hungry I could have eaten it raw. It was okay - not great - but I like crust on the crunchy side. Yeah if I'd only asked it to be cooked longer. Will go back.

DaFranco's in Sorrento, Italy . . . best pizza in the world!
Too many good ones to mention in Providence, RI including the famed "grilled" pizza.
Here in the Villages, Giovannis and Bravo's are the best with Cane Gardens a distant third but if you drive to Bellview then Bellview Pizza, the Pasta Faire and Papa John's make better pizza than anything in TV.:icon_hungry:

Taki's Pizza in Leesburg located on 441 right after the 27 split on your left serves up the best pizza around...PERIOD! It is not NY style it is pan pizza and the best you will find down here in my opinion. Their ingredients are fresh and tasty. Oh, the sausage they use on their pizza is the best sausage I have ever had on any pizza including NY style. I don't know if they make it themselves or what but it's amazing! They always load there pizzas up and the dough is always fresh!

Been to that one too, but for some reason the food has always been better at the Leesburg one. Maybe the cooks? I would recommend the few extra minutes and go to Leesburg.

Our favorite too - it is a thin crust, and I always mention I like it crispy. You can order days ahead of time online too , which makes it easy - then just go pick it up at the time its convenient for you.

The new Papa John's (behind Longhorn) in Rolling Acres is worth a try . . . they make two types of pizza . . . a thin crust (more like in Italy than NY) and a thick crust (Chicago style). Right now they are having an opening special, $10 for a 14" pizza with up to 7 topping (they have about 20 items to slect from).
I've tried their thin pizza and it is better than anyone's in TV!
Down side . . . you need to take it out or have it delivered . . . there is only three little tables in the place and they don't even have knives and forks! AND NO BEER!!!!!

Thanks for the update. I saw last week that Papa John's was going to open a store but thought it was weeks away from completion. I ordered the unadvertised (except for here) "opening special" last night and had it delivered. It was a very good pizza and the price was right. Delivery was pretty quick.

4120 Corley Island Rd, Leesburg, FL It is maybe 2.5 miles South on 27 from the 27/441 split. Search on here for it as there was another thread about it.

The Legends Cafe on 27/441 in Fruitland Park serves an excellent pizza. They are now located in the old round house cafe on the Fruitland Park, Leesburg border. It's also hard to find any better chicken wings, anywhere.
