Be sure a friction additive (like shark grip) is included in the final coat, or you could end up with a very slippery surface when wet.

A neighbor who lives in a courtyard villa got a quote of about $4000. It included garage, driveway, sidewalks, and lanai.

Stay away from Decorative Concrete. The price your neighbor got is about right.

They do exceptional quality work, but they aren’t cheap. They grind the cement and use layers. It’s dry enough to walk on in 24 hours.

We just had our driveway done by Todd's painting 352-459-7818. My husband found him through Sherwin-Williams. He not only did an incredibly perfect job on our sidewalk driveway and patios but he was almost $1,000 cheaper than any other bed we got. We highly recommend him.

That sounds way too high. I would suggest getting more quotes.

Also, I would suggest using epoxy in the garage, and concrete stain/paint for the other concrete areas.

You didn't explain what type of driveway you have. There are restrictions for different styles. CYV or designer?
CYV CANNOT have designs on them and only certain colors.

Told me he would call at 9 (i planned my day around him) he called at 11:45. He called me a liar, said he never told me that he would call at 9. Then went into a tyrant cursing rant that you would not believe when i told him i was not interested. Buyer beware!!!

Did someone mention with painted concrete to have non-slip sealer applied?

I didn't on our driveway a couple years ago and my wife watering her flowers fell on our slick driveway after
a rain or anytime it's wet even though she wore old shoes with the worn soles.

I got a quote on a patio re-finish which involved grinding off the old finish and doing new. Bid was ok and date was set but never got any kind of courteous call in advance of the date. I tried several times (left voice messages on Cliff's phone) and never got a response. Day of service - finally got hold of Cliff asking when guys would show up. He said they would be there when they got there and went into a tirade about how busy he was and didn't appreciate being bothered. I cancelled the order and he went into another tirade. I never did see a color palette as was told I could choose when they got there. STAY AWAY!

I think you should leave the sidewalk alone. If you paint the sidewalk and a person slips and falls, they could sue you.

We were at a friend's house a few years ago and I had to go out to our car when it was starting to rain. I almost fell on their painted driveway.
