Went to a session of "cards and board games" today at Lake Miona Rec Center. Saw seven tables of Mah Jongg and three tables of cards.

I'm looking to find others who might be interested in board games, simple to difficult. Carcassonne, Ticket to Ride, Small World, Kingdom Builders, Catan, or similar. We're in Virginia Trace. You can reach me here, or at ehonoursr@gmail.com.

Hope to find you.

I am a huge board game fan. I have a large game collection I’m bringing. Will be retiring to St Catherines this February.

I enjoy Catan. I bet there are enough interested parties to form a club.....

Sounds like a club I'd consider.

Looking at the event scheduling on The Villages App, there are sessions of "Cards and Board Games" scheduled nearly every day of the week at various rec centers. If the other sessions are like the one we went to this week, it's basically just an open room for people to gather to play games. The tables are available, but there's not any other organization. All the people there had pre-arranged to meet their friends to play in foursomes or so.

I have in mind a gathering in which we meet weekly and bring different games, an opportunity to decide week by week what we will play. Given the current schedules, it's just a matter of picking one of those existing schedules and then using an open table in that room.

Interested? Say so, and we'll make it happen.

I’m game :icon_wink: Will be moving down in February.

Currently belong to a Meetup gaming group that has a similar format. Fredericksburg Game Guild (Fredericksburg, VA) | Meetup (https://www.meetup.com/fredericksburg-game-guild)
Would really love to find something similar in TV.

Very nice! Thanks for the link. Yes, that's exactly the kind of group that I have in mind.
