Hello,

The American Red Cross is seeking a commercial kitchen for use during local disasters (fires, hurricanes, etc.) to provide food to victims during the response and recovery phases. Ideally, this would be an arrangement to use one at no charge. However, purchasing a small restaurant or catering kitchen is not out of the question.

Currently open restaurants for sale are charging premiums because of the value they are attributing to their customer base and value of their business. We do not need to pay for customers and branding, just access to a commercial kitchen.

Has anyone seen any closed restaurants around the Sumter or Lake county area? It does not matter how long they have been sitting vacant.

Thank you for any sightings you can provide!

The Polish restaurant recently closed. On Hwy 301 just north of the tollway, in front of the Comfort Inn.
