The TOTV'ers who went to Gracie's open house this afternoon really had a royal treat. Her home is gorgeous, decorated with some of her own art work. The invitation said "snacks," but my idea of snacks is some chips and popcorn. Gracie laid on enough delicious:mademyday::mademyday: goodies for a wedding. We got to meet a lot of people who were only screen names. It was so much fun. Gracie, I can't thank you enough!

One of my favorite sayings is, "there are no strangers here, only friends we haven't met," That is so true in TV. Thank you for bringing us together, you both really out did yourselves. The food and fellowship were just so special. Thanks for letting me put faces and names together, Teri :-)

Thanks Gracie. Claudia and I enjoyed seeing you and your lovely house.
We also enjoyed talking to fellow TOTV people.
It was a great afternoon....good food (LOTS OF IT), good company and a lovely setting. Of course, our hostess, Gracie, is a wonderful, talented, caring, loving person and meeting her, was a gift.
It was a joy to meet so many people who write here. All were fun to be around and talk with. If you have the opportunity to meet at Crispers tomorrow I recommend it. You'll get to enjoy the company of such nice people from TOTV.

Another big thank you for Gracie, here. What a wonderful get-together. I would also like to thank Harry and Helene for their parts, as well. What a beautiful family.
I was so sorry to have to cut it short and sorry about those I missed. It was so good to see and visit with the ones I had met at one time or another at Crispers and neat to meet some new ones. Unfortunately, no Crispers tomorrow for us. Hopefully, next month and maybe hubby can be there then, too.:BigApplause:

Gracie,
Thank you so much for opening your heart and home to strangers like us! I have felt nothing but welcoming since I arrived in TV a little over a week ago. But you, my New Friend, not only did you put new meaning to "Refreshments" (tell me what I need to do to get invited to a hearty meal sometime!) but your home is as beautiful as your family is and as you are. What a talent you have! It was so much fun to meet people I've read posts from and put faces with names. You are all wonderful and I'm happy to be a part of this. Gracie, thank you for helping to make this all happen!
Blessings to you all,
Carol :BigApplause:

Maybe not, we're all heading over to Gracie's for breakfast tomorrow and bringing additional friends. She put out such a lovely and varied FEAST, you can't imagine.... :D
Really, it was great!
At Graciegirl's request, I have posted an album with some pictures I took this afternoon. Unfortunately, I'm not good at remembering everyone's name so I just posted pics without names. If anyone would like to have their picture removed, I'll be glad to do so, just PM me.
Not sure if I posted the link to the album correctly, but if not, you can see it by going to my page and clicking on my albums.

Oh, I am heartbroken that I missed it, but happy for everyone who attended. Given the hostess and host, I'm sure it was fabulous.
Pooh, thanks for posting pictures. Can't wait to go check them out.

The pictures look great! Wished I could have come Gracie, but simply couldn't. I only wished there were captions on the pictures. Wanted to know who was who, although I DID recognize Sue Schuler and your daughter.

I loved our get together. I can't imagine anyone could have picked a nicer bunch. Thank you all for your kind words.
We need to do it again very soon.
Hope to see you all again at Crispers this afternoon.

A very special afternoon. Such fun seeing so many new faces!
Suggestion to all: next time you ask your friends and neighbors in, call Gracie and ask for her estimate as to how much food you should have. Then go buy a third of it and your guests will eat for a week! :jester:
Thanks Gracie and company, and thnk Pooh for the pictures. She caught my good side!

Thanks again, Gracie, for putting this together and opening your house to everyone. Sandy (Brillo) and I really enjoyed it - got to put some names with faces and have some excellent conversations!!!
Sadly, we're on our way back to OH. Such is life. We'll be back there in 9 weeks - Sandy's counting the days already!

Thanks Pooh for taking the time to do the pictures. I gives me a warm fuzzy all over again! Double bonus...got to spend the next day (yesterday) at Crispers with some of the same folks and more of the gang! I am having such a good time these past 2 weeks!
I posted in the other forum but repeat. Gracie is a superb hostess--think of Perle Mesta and Lady Astor. Grace, it was wonderful to see you, Helene, and Henry. You are missed when you are up in our home state. Enjoyed welcoming new Villagers as well as seeing "old" friends. Thanks for opening up your beautiful home and for the fabulous food.

Oh how I wish I my house was built. Gracie your home is beautiful and am looking forward to meeting you and others . Pooh thanks for the photos:BigApplause:
Do you think TV would let us pitch a tent  then we could fly down every weekend and not miss out on meeting new friends. I guess we will have to wait till the Lilly is built.
Gracie love your decorating.
