In this video I take a look at the work starting in the Village of St. John and take a look at a group of villas under construction that illustrates the coordinated construction process of homes here in The Villages. Of course, we’ll also look at Sawgrass Grove, Cason Hammock, the new Homestead Recreation Center, the Southern Oaks Bridge, Hammock at Fenney, the Village of Richmond, Eastport, Middleton, and the area north of the Village of DeLuna.

I was surprised to hear that Sawgrass with be a music and food venue without retail shopping. Also, we have been looking forward to the Night Sky area and your video shows the construction progress. Have you run across the plans for rerouting 470? Was surprised today to see so much in progress at the 301/470 intersection. They are clearly adding the Villages traffic calming curves.

Yes, there are several sources with maps of the rerouting of 470. I haven't been to the 470/301 intersection in about 2 weeks, even then I didn't see much work happening there. Did you mean 501/470?

Yes on 501/470. Lot of work going on near that intersection now.

A sign said they will be changing 470 traffic patterns, Dec 6 I think.
