I ordered online in October I was informed by email that they were delivered in two boxes to the Lady Lake store on 19 November.
I went to pick them up but the manager informed me only one box had arrived, so he said just take the one box. I said I will call the head office to find out what happened to the other box, he said don’t do that because they will tell you it has been delivered, just take the box that’s here and I am getting a delivery tomorrow, so just call me.
I did take the other box but asked him to sign the order form that I only took one box, eventually he agreed to sign.
Well I went there yesterday, one week after initial delivery, the manager said you never called , but I am getting another delivery tomorrow. I believe he is just stringing me along for some reason.
Here’s my problem I have left two messages on the Area Managers phone, sent two emails to Dollar Tree CEO, with no reply.
I just want my order or money back.
Any suggestions?

I had a similar situation when items supposed to be on my flight didn't show. Was told they would probably be on next flight and they would send it to my address. Several days later I had reports from original boarding that items had been onboard. Conflicting report from destination that items never arrived. Told them I would allow them 24 hrs to get my items or I would filing legal action for theft. 12 hrs later items showed up on my door.
My guess is mgr is hiding theft and hopes by stonewalling you will give up and go away. Don't know your dollar amt, but threat of bringing in police and filing theft report might get some one to find your missing item.
Good luck.

The obvious question! I missed it. 😊
I'm guessing it will be somewhat more or I don't think op should be asking on the forum.
On line order from Dollar tree?? Troll?? I took this as a serious request for some kind, any kind of help to decide next move to recover lost or stolen goods.
Let's see what others think.

Maybe bought 48 items. Saw in a Virginia paper this morning that all prices are going to be $1.25.

All you have to do is report it to your credit card company and they will refund you if you have your proof and they will fight it out.

"the manager said you never called." Did you call as he asked? It's not like they have a warehouse to sit on things.

Bibles?

now that's a lead to follow

might be worth a try to find out if anyone working at the store is connected with 'Gideons International'

I ordered online also. I was told they were in and went to pick it up. There I was told it didn’t arrive and I had to wait. I waited almost 2 months and finally called to get a refund. Meanwhile I went to the store and picked up all that they had of that item. I’m sure my item was coming in and they were being put out on the shelf each time.

One would think a box of bibles would find their way. Hope they find them for you.

If you purchased the items with a credit card, you have 60 days from the statement date where the charge first appears to dispute the charge with your bank. The bank will remove the charge and your problem is solved. If you didn't use a credit card, then I think you are out of luck.

God bless. Hope you get resolution. With your “Mopper” name I thought it might be cleaning supplies 👍
