They have been great to watch over the past weeks. Hopefully ESPN will continue this after Thanksgiving.

I tuned into them Monday night for the first time ever, just for kicks....I ended up switching to the other broadcast
after a while it sounded more like two guys patting one another of the back and reliving their heroics on the gridiron, than it was about the game on the field

I watched a little bit interesting but mostly read the next day if there was anything interesting said .I’m a gambler and always watch games alone and I don’t like distractions , I also don’t start that game for about 40 minutes so I can shoot through adds , I do all the single night games like that also on my direct Sunday ticket I pick one game start it late and if it getting out of hand I’ll switch live and watch different games . I also make some bets if I’m winning some games , like points in a quarter , half or total points under or over for second half

I'm a football nut, especially watching college ball.
I spent most of my life in Wisconsin and football was king until after the Super Bowl,
then they would roll up the sidewalks until the first robin was spotted.
As far as the Eli and Payton together, always thought Payton and Tony Romo would be a great broadcasting team.

I know what you mean. Try watching Mr. Excitement, Eli, for ten years as a Make-Believe Quarterback. You would be like me. You wouldn't want to hear or see him again.
Maybe he finally found a job he can handle.
Can't stand the man. Eli's brother and Dad are great.

Hey I’m a Boston guy but Eli won 2 Super Bowls, always a gentleman , good teammate never threw any of his teammates under a bus , his stats are pretty good , border line hall of fame but 2 Super Bowls put him in good company , because super bowl wins are the holy grail the other stuff is just nice to have , ask Aron Rogers he of the 1/ 4 championship games where he got a nice participation trophy or Dan Marino with his nice passing stats

Peyton is fun to listen to, he is made for TV. Eli has the personality of a grapefruit

Fun to begin with but it shortly became ponderous.

Off topic but, what do you think of the Monday night crew? I think they ramble on and on way too much.

I hope so too. Saw them for the first time and It was nice to hear 2 QB's talk about what plays should be called as opposed to announcers who state the obvious.
