The Villages will join more then 200 cities across the country to celebrate TubaChristmas 2021.That’s because the Bands of The Villages is sponsoring the local event patterned after a tradition that started in 1974 in New York City’s Rockefeller Center, where musicians playing more than 300 instruments in the tuba family performed popular Christmas carol arrangements.
The upcoming show will mark the 14th local TubaChristmas Concert, which will include 75 musicians and Special Guest Performers the “Broadway and Beyond Singers”. The Bands of The Villages has made a special effort to involve middle and high school musicians by covering the fees for participating students and Band Directors in adjoining communities.
The TubaChristmas event, which will include delightful renditions of such holiday favorites as “Jingle Bells” and “Away In A Manger,” will be held Saturday, Dec. 18 with doors opening at 1:30 p.m. for the 2 p.m. concert at New Life Christian Church, 4701 E CR 462(Powell Rd. ext.- .7 miles E. of Hwy 301) in Wildwood. The free concert will be conducted by Coast Guard Conductor Laureate CAPT Lewis Butler, (USCG Ret.) For more information, contact John Bird at jbird772@comcast.net.

Love to be there but it is difficult for my wife and I to attend the performance, is it possible to broadcast it somehow. Maybe zoom or youtube ?
Thanks
