What that poster was referring to is a Goliath Grouper, which is also called a Jewfish. Here’s a picture of a small one I caught in less than 25’ of water when I lived in Key Largo

Having lived in Florida since 59 and fishing offshore since getting out of the Army in 71 I’ve pretty much experienced it all..
