The traffic from Ocala south a number of times has been clogged because of the slightest hiccup with someone parked on the side of the road. I've gotten off the Belleview exit in order to get to the Villages a few time, but I feel as though the route is rather long in order to hookup with Rt. 301. Is there another route that anyone has taken to eliminate Rt. 301 altogether from the Belleview exit off 75S?

I'll be the contrarian here - I don't like it when people invent short-cuts, which may save them seconds, through our Village's neighborhood, and I am sure the feeling is shared by anyone living on the roads mentioned above. Stick to the "official" routes and remove one more reason to detest Villagers.

I left out if you want a short cut to the north side of The Villages Exit 75 take 484 East cross 301 connecting to 27/441 just west of Spruce Creek/walMart.

OR Exit 75 to 484 continue to 301 take right travel south to HWY42 to North end of Buena Vista and VA clinic.

but you aren't as the so called short cuts are NOT through anyones neighborhood. They are all "official" routes as there is no such thing and I've never heard of anyone detesting anyone for using the roads to get from point a to point b. It is completely why roads exist!

Please re-direct your anger towards something that is logical. thanks

I think all those numbers like 484, 475, and 466 are county highways which were designed for vehicular thru traffic.
