Did you call Centurylink to report outage?

We and a couple of friends in the Spanish Springs area have had daily sporadic interruptions since mid-November. 12 hrs on, 2 off; 1hr on 10 min off; 3 on, 1 off etc. Most outages seem to occur during peak business hours or early evenings. After 4 service tech visits, and twice testing of the modem, one tech suggested "technical adjustments were being made 'in Central'". Personally, it seems to me that CenturyLink's service facilities are overloaded, and they are doing rolling interruptions to consumer level customers to balance their service loads. We helped solve their problem (whatever it is) by switching to another carrier last week.

We have Century Link and it is unavailable quite often.

That is why I am off of Talk of the Villages so often of late.

I wonder if they are still using the old AT&T relays in their CO. Seriously, It might be time to bite the bullet and switch to the devil, ComCrap. As bad as their CS is, their uptime, at least here in Amelia, has been close to 100% over my 5 years here. That is the only 2 options here. ComCrap and CL. I tried CL for about 2 days when we moved it and that was it.

Mine has been out for significant periods on-and-off the past few weeks. We are in Lynnhaven.

Try resetting your router. If that doesn’t work do the best thing & call Century Link!

I've had centurylink 1G/b service in Piedmont never had an outage. Used to have modem/router issues until I bought Google 3 node router.
