There are no places next to Volusia accessible by cart open for breakfast other than Bob Evans and McDonalds in Colony Plaza.

McDonalds is great for breakfast!

My wife and I drove down to Bok Tower yesterday for a visit and we stopped at the McDonalds on Route 27 south of Leesburg for breakfast. We each had an Egg McMuffin and shared an order of pancakes. We also got two large coffees - drank one and put the other in our thermos to enjoy before we headed home. It was a wonderful day.

Agree, but sit down - then wait for 1/2 hour+++ for a table. Then sit down - and wait 1/2 hour+++ for your food. We go there about every 3 weeks after morning golf. At 9:30-10AM... very crowded and they are STILL short on staff. But still the best in that area rather than fastfood.

I didn't know the CCs weren't open early. Thanks for the heads up! We've only been there for lunch/dinner...

And yes, if not Bob Evans, I think TooJays in Brownwood would be your next best bet (or The Flying Biscuit in Lake Sumter)...

Depending on where you live, Darrell's in Pinellas Plaza might work...

When they finish construction on the new building in Lake Deaton Plaza, hopefully they'll have a place for breakfast... It would serve a large area north and south of 44...
