When I went out to get the paper at the end of the driveway today at 9 (I usually go out around 7am)...it seemed that everyone's driveway still had the paper....so we all must have been up watching the game

I was amazed at the size of the Georgia players they sent out for the coin toss....HUGE

1st half was a defensive battle...Georgia kept killing themselves with penalties...but Alabama couldn't capitalize on that

second half was a much more exciting game to watch...the Georgia QB just refused to give up...that was the difference

first time I ever watched the 'Bama QB...good player, but didn't seem to have any fire in his belly

loved watching the 'one on one' (literally) matchups

Uga (he's about the tenth Uga) looked quite bored during the game. Also, he kinda looks like Vince Dooley.

Uga always looks like that... I've met him when visiting my youngest who graduated from Georgia...

Absolutely NOTHING changes his demeanor... He is the quintessential couch potato...

I met one Uga in the late '60s. I attended a bit before Herschel Walker and WAY before Hines Ward.

At this rate, Georgia will catch up to Alabama in Championships in about 3,000 years.

Kirby Smart said it best. "The wind blows a lot stronger at the top, I've seen it.". He was part of four titles at Bama and he has a lot of respect for Coach Saban and it's mutual. Glad the championship stayed in the SEC for the third straight year. The best conference in college football.

If you want to be the champ, you got to beat the champ. From a Tide fan, congratulations, Georgia and coach Smart. We will see you again.

During the pre-game interviews, coach Saban said the Georgia team did not have the championship experience that his team had...but that they "would get it tonight." We'll, apparently the Dawgs are fast learners.

I think the kids on both teams played their hearts out, but coach Saban ultimately got outcoached by his former assistant. Alabama never could come up with an answer for Georgia's suffocating defense, and coach Smart was able to make the in-game adjustments that Saban could not.

Congrats to both programs for making it to the title game. Double congrats to the Dawgs for winning it all.

Vegas didn’t think it was a surprise. The line opened with Ga as a two point favorite and went to three points settling back to two and a half before the game at most sports books. Bama is favorite to win next year

Now that the Dawg’s mental block about Bama is out of the way, look out as Georgia is now going to stay up with the big boys from here on. Go Dawgs and Roll Tide when not playing my pups.

Coach Saban is great and I wish he would have had the suggestions you posted. Perhaps things would have turned out different. No?
Georgia did very well. Congrats to them.

Not to big of a surprise once Alabama lost their top receiver.

Was it a mistake for the Bama receiver to play in the game and suffer an ACL injury? He was supposed to be the top receiver in the NFL draft? How much will this injury cost him?? Many players on other teams refused to play in their bowl games due to the risk of injury.
