With reports coming out showing how the numbers are vastly overstated, I am not concerned.

Where does it reflect the same infection being reported every day as a new case until they get their negative?

Lots of people are testing positive when they are not sick at all. Most people who test positive are not sick at all. That number represents POSITIVE tests only, not people who are sick. Very misleading.

Really? What numbers are wrong? 75.9% of the US population have had at least one jab. 1,900 Covid deaths per day equates to 693,500 deaths per year, that’s double the number of deaths in 2020 or 2021. So I ask again, what numbers are wrong?!?

Yes, some HAVE died as a direct result of Covid, BUT some have died of the FLU in the past, car accidents, COPD, cancer, gun shot wounds, plane crashes, etc. Everyone dies. It's just a matter of time. Take precautions, but live life without fear. ALL deaths "are acceptable" because I can't change that from happening. Why allow fear to rule your life? Everyone only has a finite amount of time to live. How are you going to live that time, in fear?

Yes, definitely a conspiracy. The numbers are inflated to scare you, but most folks in the villages have one upped the CDC. Everything is fine. Don’t wear a mask, mingle with friends, & have a great time!

They are hospitalized, they do die, and prior to flu season you did hear about the shots.

Thanks for the update . These numbers are understated and new Covid cases are much higher because many people with Covid and no symptoms do not get tested and not counted . It’s concerning to hear people who don’t get vaccinated , speak out “Covid doesn’t exist , numbers of new cases are overstated and they are not concerned about it “ , once they contract Covid and become seriously Ill , most say they wished they had gotten vaccinated or maybe they pass on to a loved one who dies from Covid . That’s right. I read these posts every day on Covid and who knows what the real numbers are. It’s interesting that almost seven hundred thousand people die each year from heart disease and over six hundred thousand from cancer and those are verifiable numbers but where’s the outrage. Where are the posts every day on these deaths. Yet, drive past any McDonalds or, fast food place and they are packed. Some people still smoke. These people know the risks yet they continue to indulge in these behaviors. I think they call it living because in the end we all meet the same fate.

So by looking at these numbers, the percentage of the deaths of the positive test individuals was .22%. Now the question I have is: did the individual pass with Covid or because of Covid? How many of the individuals had some comorbidity that could have been the actual cause of the passing.
It is a sad fact of earthly life but everyday the almighty calls us back to his kingdom.

Well, I read the Sun-Sentinel (Ft. Lauderdale) and 3 people have died of the flu in south Florida so far this season.

Interesting. How do you know that the "numbers are understated" if those without symptoms do not get tested? If they do not get tested, how do you know they have covid? If they have no symptoms, and they do not get tested, then they do not have covid UNTIL they have been proven to have Covid. The only way to prove it is for them to be tested, right? You are ASSUMING, as we all do that a lot more people have covid than are tested. But, without certifiable proof via testing, the premise that the numbers are understated is ONLY a guess.

In Newsbreak for today, I found a list of Fl. cities for CV. heading the list at 31,633 total cases/ 100,000 is the Miami area. The Villages is listed last out of about 40 at about 1/2 the cases or 14064/100,000 people. THAT is good! BUT, BIG BUT......The Villages is HIGHER than 50% of the cities for total DEATHS /100,000 at 14,064. Please check that out for yourself.

OLDER population than other Fl cities. (our Hospitals can NOT be THAT bad).

Not according to our own Doctor.....DR. Blue Ash! He said that the chances that a positive test is FALSE happens in about 2% of the tests. Now a negative rapid test IS false so many times as to be NOT useful information.

If 95% of all US residents that are eligible got ALL their vaccines AND boosters as recommended by LEGITIMATE Doctors - then we could ALL be happy and live life to the fullest. That IS NOT possible right now! Portugal has an over 95% vaccination rate. I imagine that they are living their lives to the fullest and are happy! And their Hospitals are fulfilling THEIR society's medical and health needs. In the US some states have some hospitals that are in CRISIS standard of care (as in do NOT resusitate)!

But, don’t we have enough vaccine for everyone in the US? It is only a degree of scale to compare to Portugal. As an elementary teacher I remember some immigrant fishing village Portuguese parent marking the report card with an “x” because they could not write their name. Cruise ships require 100% of their crew and passengers to be vaccinated, yet the rate of Covid positives on cruise ships is comparable to the general population in the US. Explain how vaccines are effective…

Here’s an even better example of vaccine effectiveness. You used Portugal as an example. You stated they have a 95% vaccination rate. Yet, based on today’s numbers, their Covid per capita infection rate is 2X the rate of Americans…

Stop testing healthy people! Cases mean nothing only sicknesses and deaths. The real tragedy is that after two years hospitals offer no therapeutics. The State of Florida offers monoclonal treatments. Shame on the FDA and the CDC!

It just seems like it’s no better. My wife & I are very fortunate, we haven’t gotten Covid or had any symptoms of it. We’re up to date on our shots but don’t always where mask but we do try very hard to get to close to other people!

First of all, where do you get your "approx 100 million people unvaccinated and SICK"?

How many of them already caught and recovered from Covid?

Second of all, Ivermectin was developed for HUMAN use, then adapted for livestock use (just as most medicines are...) The creator of Ivermectin won the Nobel Prize for his development of the drug for HUMAN use... It is FDA approved for HUMAN use and is used daily in countries where parasites are a problem...

Third of all, many, many drugs were developed for one use, then adapted for another use. Minoxidil, for example, was initially use as a blood pressure medicine before it was discovered it also helped with hair loss...
