Golf cart directions to Lake Okahumpka??

Can you get to Lake Okahumpka in a golf cart particularly from Sumter Landing?
I tried the Villages GPS, and The Villages App and nothing worked.

You can get to the rec center and restaurant being constructed off of Meggison Rd but you can't get to the walking and biking trails off of 44. From LS go to Brownwood, cross over the Brownwood bridge. Lake Okahumpka is on your left. You have to go all the way down to Water Lilly tunnel and then head back north on the MMP

It doesn't look like it but you can get close.

If you are trying to get to Okahumpka Park (which is on Lake Okahumpka) and the entrance is on 44... no... you can't get there by golf cart.

The closest you could get by golf cart would be the path through Lake Deaton to Lake Deaton United Methodist Church. From there, you can walk the 0.8 miles to the park, taking your life in your hands as you cross FL44.
