Went on-line to get a company to repair garage door (springs broke). They came and quoted us $650. We said no knowing that was unreasonably high. Besides they told us we needed other improvements which we did not as it turned out. Case of unscrupulous people taking advantage of seniors.
Neighbors recommended ROMAC. They were great and did it for $275.
ROMAC was honest and pleasant to deal with.

Ryan O'Cull, 352-207-5668, replaced my springs last month for $325. He will usually come to your house within 30 minutes of calling him.
Another option is Scott, 352-697-0321.

Stay away from Ryan O'Cull. He came to my house Saturday and was very condescending to my wife. He was late , he never answered questions my wife had and told her it would be months before he could get the needed parts to fix my garage door. He also said it would be roughly $2000 because we needed 2 new panels. He left telling her he would email me with a detailed estimate. I never got the estimate.
Today Scott Cowan came over and within a half hour my door was fixed for $100

Odd, because he's only replacing springs now, not entire doors...

Keep posting your experience with bad service companies of all kinds.
It will help your neighbors, and maybe the bad ones will clean up their act.

Maybe that's why he quoted me so high. If he didn't want the job he should have been honest

I have to apologize to all of you because I've made an enormous mistake. First off let me tell you all I talked to Ryan today and made my apologies to him. He texted me this morning to say he didn't come to my house Saturday. This made me wonder who the heck treated my wife like that and who was trying to rip me off. So I called the number I thought was Ryan's and found it to be A.S.A.P. garage door.
Like I said my mistake and Ryan seems like a very nice guy.

Ryan replaced the springs on my garage door in December. He told me that it is not correct that he only works on springs. He is available to do all types of garage door repair. His number is 352-207-5668.
