LEFT turn from the golf cart lane in front of traffic in the left(auto) lane.

Please use common sense and rules of the road!! Even if you signal your turn do NOT turn left from the golf cart Lane. Driving down St. Charles today and golf cart turned left in front of me from the golf cart lane. I locked the brakes and came about 20 feet from hitting it broadside. I was fussing with my wiper control, so I was a bit distracted. But if the golf cart had been in the regular traffic lane in front of me, I would have easily seen it. There was a serious accident a few blocks away on St. Charles not too long ago that had one person air lifted to Ocala after the cart rolled on them. Wondering if it was a similar circumstance. That accident involved a much larger vehicle. Drive carefully in those golf carts.

I see it too all most every day. Do the villages still talk about golf cart safety and etiquette at the monthly new resident briefings or was that done away with as well?
