This spring I want to hang some flowers in hanging pots. The location gets direct morning sun from sun up to about 11:30 AM. I'm looking for suggestions for flowers that will survive the hot summer and provide vivid colors. Any suggestions?
Thank you.

Perhaps Lantana. Since they will be in pots, you may consider the caribbean version. They have more vivid colorshttps://www.nature-and-garden.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/10/lantana.jpg
There is a Florida species, pretty yellow flowers.

Trailing Geraniums (Pelargonium peltatum)
Hanging Petunias.
Impatiens. (Bussy Lizzies)

Keep dead heading through season, feed weekly when in full bloom, water daily ( twice a day in full sun) and should last right through summer months.

Teasing a bit. I would suggest plastic. Are you prepared to water it, twice a day? Gotta get home to water my plant?
