I shortened this up. I worked with the two companies below. Very easy and happy with their work.

Wickham Construction
Ultimate Granite

If you want eyes on your post you might consider not using the word screed. When I hover on the thread description I see that I will be reading a long winded screed. That word implies that you will be complaining, ranting, etc. I kept reading to find your complaint and didn't find it. In fact you seem happy with how it has all come together.

Fair enough. I replaced it with "post".

Most people don't read anyway, so no big deal. I just wanted to praise Wickham and Ultimate Granite. Still work to do, but happy with those companies.

I was fascinated by "tiny fridge in the panty". Very tiny, indeed.

I would not recommend Wickham Construction. Just had them do a job in my home and they did a terrible job.

I keep a file of who to use for what. Based on the positive and this negative I would not add or subtract them from my list. No details. is either post valid? On Amazon, for example, I tend t read the negatives first. Did I perhaps not realize that issue? Is the complaint perhaps posted by someone impossible to please. Or, sometimes posted by a competitor-happens more often then most realize. No company is perfect. Amazon for example. Lost in the mail. That is not the fault of the seller. Did they correct the problem?

If someone is doing research on Wickham Construction they can always send a PM. I would be happy to send photos of the sloppy work and give a full description of my experience.
