COVID Case Update

As most Villagers know, The Villages spans through three different counties. Here are the number of new COVID cases as of Feb. 16, according to the CDC website. In Lake County, there have been 1,957 new cases over the last week. 150 of those cases were admitted to the hospital, and 39 resulted in death.

For every reported infection, there are two unreported cases of Covid. That means that at least two thirds of our country has had Covid. Considering that and the guess that at least two hundred million have been vaccinated, Covid must be on it's last leg. Just a guess and my opinion. With the home test kits out here now, it means that there will be less reported infections. We've both had our vaccinations and both of us also endured the dreaded Covid curse infection(according to the home test kits). We treated it with over the counter cold medicine.
Like I said, this is just my opinion and not to be construed as legitimate fact.
