European cruise out of London

Has anyone taken a Emerald Princess out of London? The ship has a nice itinerary but it is a 15 year old ship and the reviews are mixed.
Any advice on a cruise line that does a north European cruise and begins or ends in London.
Viking has a nice 15 day cruise but there are not any openings for August/September of 2022.

We have done several Princess cruises out of Southampton and enjoyed them all.

We do get to london a few days early to see theatre

Was it on the Emerald Princess? If so how is the condition of the ship, food and entertainment?
