even the 'news article' has no pictures of these signs. If they are new wouldn't one want to provide in depth information rather than marching orders? Pretty offensive.

Accessing major roads such as Buena Vista, Morse Blvd, Odell Circle etc. should tell which direction (N or S) so that you know whether to turn left or right. When we were new here - which MANY travelers are - we sometimes drove around endlessly not knowing whether to turn left or right. The Google maps were so out-of-date for The Villages.
Now we know - and we have The Villages VPS - but many visitors around here do NOT and need that extra information. As an example, leaving Sumter Landing toward Morse Blvd: The words say Morse Blvd pointing in both directions - with no further information. It should show whether you are proceeding in a northerly or southerly direction for each turn.

BV & Morse run north & south……how can one get lost?
Below CR44, somebody else will have to provide.
TV sales office sells very useful maps for $5.

I'll have to look for that particular sign the next time I am up there. Every other sign I can remember, on both Morse and Buena Vista, indicates which direction is North and South.

(Perhaps the thought was that North/South wasn't necessary on that particular sign since you could see the bridge over Lake Sumter and the direction would be obvious?)

So this must’ve replacing the ones that they missed in the first go around. It is weird to see the old unreadable signs here and there. Will be nice to get the new ones in that you can actually read.

How do we get signs Sourh of The Turnpije? There are absolutely no signs other than at the Water Lily Bridge. I constantly meet people lost in the Villages down here. There are signs in all the new areas between 44 and The Turnpike, but not 1 sign to any of the 5 golf courses or to Fenney or The Hogeye Path!!!

Use THE VILLAGES GPS, the free one, it is up to date and includes new streets and addresses almost immediately. Much better than Google Maps or the other GPS apps. The other free GPS that is pretty good, but not as UpToDate is Waze.

Waze and Google maps are the same. Both owned by Google Maps....

Put a compass app on your phone. You will know in seconds which direction you are headed.

Better yet, put a real compass in your golf cart and leave the phone at home.
