Can anyone tell me the best way to get to Clearwater and how long is the drive with a stop or two? Tk u

We take I-75 down to I-275 and into Tampa. Then Highway 60 west past the airport and straight to the beach, it's a very pretty causeway that you'll pass. Then head south when you see the water. We've tried a couple other ways, but to me, that's the fastest, easiest. For a longer, interesting drive, sometimes we just head north from Clearwater and stop at Tarpon Springs for a Greek Lunch.

Option B - use your GPS. Have fun, we like the area.

Agree with the prior responder's suggestion.

We find stop at Tampa Premium Outlet area in Wesley Chapel and or International Mall in Tampa near airport as welcome leg stretchers and potential dining areas. Both are on the suggested route.

Use Google or Waze. You never know which causeway is going to be at a standstill.

The travel time to Clearwater Beach is 1 hour 45 min, no stopping.
Clearwater is somewhat closer maybe saving 20 mins.

Clearwater is big so where in Clearwater makes a difference. Just Google your address to the address you want to go to and you will get the miles and approx. time travel.
