3. A warm dog is welcome on a cold Minnesota winter night. Ask any 9-year-old.

5. A dog can and will eat a whole cake left on the counter. And vomit copiously immediately thereafter.
6. When your doggie shows affection by licking you, t is best NOT to think of where that tongue was just before it hit your face.
7. German shepherds eat bees.
8. Rover just might confuse a leg with a fire hydrant.
9. A Siberian Husky just might try to sing when he hears Bach's Toccata and Fugue in D minor.
10. The toughest Bull Mastiff in existence will whimper and try to crawl onto your lap in a thunderstorm.

"ON our homes"??????.......that made me visualize some dog pooping in someones' yard and then throwing it at their house. Or a dog that climbed up a downspout to poop on a roof - and then beating on its chest and barking out ROOF, ROOF. Maybe I am thinking of a "home" as being the house and others are thinking of a yard as a home??????.....I am scratching my head over this one!

Research should show that there are many, many people who don't appreciate dogs as you do and would be very upset and suffer greatly as a result of being confronted by the presence of a dog in the emergency room. Dog lovers, and I am one, generally don't realize how many people are allergic or have been traumatized by dogs. The mere presence of a dog can cause stress, anxiety, high BP, fear, etc. One person's " emotional support dog" is another person's trigger for health and safety issues.
By all means, celebrate your dog. But don't be surprised or upset that not everyone feels like celebrating with you.
