The Lost Marilyn Monroe Photos

In 1953 John Vachon, a photographer for Life Magazine, took these photos of Marilyn on a movie location. I thought them, and her of course, beautiful and thought I'd share with my fellow TOTV'ers who grew up awed by this irreplaceable woman.

Thanks Richie. I've always been fascinated by Marilyn Monroe's story. I had not seen these photos. Timeless beauty. I love the shot with her at the pool with the children and the one with Joe DiMaggio.

I saw something on television the other day about her early acting coach. He had asked Marilyn Monroe to write in journals as a study for acting. She gave her journals to him to read and keep. Upon his recent death, his wife found the journals and had them published.
