Welcome to TV. Hopefully you’ll love it as most do. A lot on offer to do. Just take one day at a time getting settled into house, you can’t do it all in a week. Take your time. FYI: there are occasionally rather grumpy folks on this site, just ignore em!

My advice is to take your time to set up your house. For me it's so much fun to have a project and even though I took about 2 1/2 months to rehabilitate my home, I'm now kinda bored to be done! Thank goodness there's tons of activities to busy myself with, but house projects sure is my jam. Welcome and enjoy!

Do what you can each day. But remember you're retired enjoy the day take a little time to go to a pool or a town square or an activity that is fun. The boxes and housekeeping can be a Little every day but try not to get overwhelmed and do it all till it's perfect.

Welcome to Heaven. So many clubs to enjoy, from mixed golf, dance or even singles clubs, but only if single. An activity single club is SITV. Group activities and day trips. Meet lots of people that are friendly, with the exception of a few old grumps. Have fun.

Welcome, and just remember, everything does not have to be done NOW. Need landscaping ? Wait and drive around taking notes and then decide what you really love. Want different floors or different paint color inside ? Wait and test out your new house first. This is Florida and light colors or no colors are fine. Believe it or not no one cares what color your curtains are or if you even put them up. Test the clubs and pools and golf courses. This part of your life is when you do what you want, when you want.

I suggest you become familiar with this link: Village Community Development Districts (https://www.districtgov.org/). On the home page look at CDD Orientation and Resident Academy both of which you should sign up for and will give the opportunity to learn about what you really bought. I know, it's all facts and takes the fun out of the opinions. rumors and misinformation you will find on here.
