Our yard pole light is remaining on, assuming the eye needs to be replaced. Any suggestions on a reliable and professional electrician. An easy task, just not there to be able to do ourselves. Any contacts would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Lenhart Electric.

Or, just have someone screw in a dawn to dusk bulb. Problem solved.

Many of the local handymen can handle this it is an easy DIY, I have helped several neighbors, but currently have too much on my plate.

Just replace the bulb with built in eye.

Our post has four bulbs with the candelabra base. I would doubt that all four bulbs would come on at the same exact time like the photocell turns them on. Same concern with when they turn off. Also.....I looked at the dawn to dusk bulbs and they are not very attractive.

You can buy dawn-to-dusk candelabra bulbs on Amazon for about 4 dollars each. I don't know what you mean by not attractive. They have a large selection and they basically look like regular bulbs, but they have a very small light sensor on them. I would buy the LED bulbs. Why would you care if they don't all come on and off at the exact same time?

If you want an electrician, I recommend Pikes Electric. But it could be handled by a neighbor handyman

You're exactly right. Do it the right way and have the sensor replaced.
