I've never been there. Is it a "sports bar"?

Is there some history to this question? Like did they used to but then they stopped?

BTW, and this is a serious question, is the food decent?

It hasn’t opened yet. They can’t hire enough staff.

There's only one McGrady's and it's down near the Ezell Rec Center in the Village of St. Catherine's.

It's at the new public square area called Sawgrass.

Not open yet. Perhaps soon after they hire and train enough staff. The Villages even has a few videos on YouTube touring the inside and discussing the concept of the place.

Xfinity has a "sports and entertainment" package for $9.99 a month. During NFL season it includes a Red Zone package. 7 hours of no commercials NFL action every Sunday.

Constantly switches between games and shows every touchdown made.

The NFL makes 7.7 billion from TV deals, and another 3.1 billion from ads. So tell us your "source" for the "large percentage" claim.

Mushy peas are dried marrowfat peas which are first soaked overnight in water with sodium bicarbonate, and then rinsed in fresh water, after which the peas are gathered in a saucepan, covered with water, and brought to a boil, and then simmered until the peas are softened and mushy.

I’m not telling anybody what to watch & not to watch, but if you like seeing a cry baby million dollar player protesting something that has nothing to do with the American flag & our Military. You’re right there in the same boat as the player. So watch your football & I’ll keep praying for our country! Not here to argue, just here to hear what the American people think about our country.

Could you explain to me while all the controversy about kneeling the military were still showing up in uniform at games , the color guards were still performing, service people were singing the national anthem, the air force was still doing fly overs and the Golden Knights and other military sky dive teams were still jumping into stadiums , I have an idea perhaps like many they understood that it was never about disrespect of the military and were smart enough to know that

I think you're right. The NFL is still doing a lot of patriotic things and donating lots of money to charity. As I said, I've enjoyed following my team for over 60 years. Being down here and watching there games brings back a little feeling of home. I fell that if I stopped watching games because of a few morons, (and they are in the minority) then they win and I lose.

I'm not criticising people who have chosen to not watch games because of them. I just think that we all have to make our own decisions.

There's a Sports Bar & Grille going in where woody's and the Polish Restaurant used to be on 301 near the turnpike ramps. Not golf car accessible but it's one more restaurant for the south, maybe this one will make it in that location.

Do you have an approximate date of opening?

Not here trying to give anybody permission to watch what they want just wanting to see if football or our country is more important, that’s all. So if you like Colin Kaepernick’s argument it’s your privilege. Mines with our Military & what our flag represents! Like me it’s just telling me where our country is heading. I watch football but it’s College ball. So if you want to watch Croquet I won’t give you permission. God Bless!

My issue is not with what you watch or don't watch, my issue is with those who feel compelled to bring it up. It's an emotionally charged issue, guaranteed to turn a thread into a politically heated argument.
Obviously, if the OP has asked the question he asked, he has made his decision. The only reason to bring it up is to start an argument, and to issue a judgement.

I don't watch the NFL or NBA, since they started giving a large percentage of television revenue to BLM. If your turn on an NFL game, you are donating to the BLM.

The Villages walk through video only shows one small television mounted above the bar. If they show football games, only a few customers will be able to watch it. So, I don't think they will be open past 10 PM.

They held a hiring event on Saturday in Clermont, which makes no sense to me if you want to hire people to work in The Villages.

It’s not rocket science, The first hiring event didn’t meet their goal. So as a business you look for employees where you can find them. A waitress we know drives from Ocala, so her kids can get an education here. Education is important to many parents

Learned that one after we had our Florida room put in they gave us a window washing. Lady doing it commuted every day from New Smyrna over an hour away.

Asked her where old Smyrna was and she had no idea. Must be an old one somewhere.

It only confirms they don’t grow the brightest in Florida, it’s a 78 mile drive.
