If you liked the way Spider-man: No Way Home brought together multiple movie franchises, you'll get a kick out of the way Doctor Strange and the Multiverse of Madness brings together the Marvel Cinematic Universe movies with two other movie franchises and two MCU TV series (WandaVision and What If?). It's quite entertaining.

Stick around for the first post-credit short as it shows Doctor Strange teaming up with a spin-off within the MCU. If you stay clear to the end, you get a short but funny clip finishing off a funny bit that was started much earlier in the film. There are no clips from any other future MCU films though.

This film is offered in 2D and 3D and there are some sequences that might have looked cool in 3D or might have induced migraines. The 3D would not have been germane to the story but if you like 3D, this is an option. This is the first film I've seen offered in 3D since the COVID pandemic began. Gives me hope that theaters will be showing the Avatar sequels in 3D when they finally get released. The 3D was very integral to the story-telling in that film.
