Florida Wildlife officials have said there is a rise of Hansen’s Disease ( leprosy ) cause by armadillos . Just a caution to be careful .

I walked right by one the other night on a sidewalk at about 2AM...I could have reached down and petted it but rabies shots suck.

The only cute Armadillo is a dead one, they spread disease, destroy lawns , damage underground pipes ,driveways buildings and drainage systems , they serve less of a purpose then any other species in the world

You must have a hotline to mother nature because you are always at the right spot at the right time. Your photos are always so awesome.

Florida Wildlife officials have said there is a rise of Hansen’s Disease ( leprosy ) cause by armadillos . Just a caution to be careful .
from the cdc website--"In the southern United States, some armadillos are naturally infected with the bacteria that cause Hansen’s disease in people and it may be possible that they can spread it to people. However, the risk is very low and most people who come into contact with armadillos are unlikely to get Hansen’s disease."
just don't kiss him on the lips!
