I'd like to give a shout-out to Frank Falabella of C & F Services who spray-cleaned my roof a few months ago and followed up on his guarantee. Unfortunately, heavy rain washed off most of Frank's work during the first application. Frank followed up with a new inspection and reapplied a full roof coating. My roof looks great. I appreciate Frank's hard work and professionalism.

What is the purpose of doing this? Does not seem as though this is a common service done to roofs.

If you have CertainTeed roof that is less than 10 years old, the cleaning may be covered for free, we just had this done, you can call 1-800-345-1145 to see if your roof qualifies. This cleaning gets rid of the algae staining that looks like dark or black streaks on the roof. Also, this cleaning has a 5 year warranty against the return of the algae. Cleaning took about 1.5 hours for 3200 square foot roof.
