If you have extra Euros and would like to exchange them for dollars, please message me. I will meet you at any Rec center, bank or home, and I'll pay the going exchange rate.

I usually stop at an ATM in the airport. The exchange rate is much better than the money changers you see at the airport.

Go to the bank and you can get as many Euros as you wish. You may have to wait a few days, so unless you need them immediately, that's what I always do.

Have to agree...30+ years of international travel for work and pleasure, and I've always used ATM and credit cards, and never the exchange rate at a "money-changer". And only used American Express Euro traveler's checks once; could only change back to dollars at an American Express office, and many restaurants in Europe would not accept them, even though they had an "American Express Accepted Here" decal in their windows.

As we traveled frequently, we rarely exchanged the foreign currency when we returned to the US. We either saved it for future trips, or spent them the last day with tips and other things.

Always got a good rate at ATM's and with our "fee-free" credit cards from Chase and American Express.
