Any idea what this land is slated for? It is outlined in red.

Call Wildwood and see if any development plans have been approved for that location.

It was part of the property to the south of the turnpike and east of 301 where the new construction can be seen in your screenshot.

I heard a rumor they bought land across 301, too, including the motocross facility.

It is quite obvious that they will cross 301. This may be for commercial purposes. Just drive to the Marshbend trail and 301 intersection, there is a pedestrian crosswalk already in place. A crosswalk into a marsh. A crosswalk to ... Nothing.

Could it be a nature trail thru the marsh?

Too small and doubt that Costco would want to pay rent and percentage of sales to the Developer

A family housing project is going in there where the crosswalks are located and from that point north a retail complex is going in, there is still a lot of land south of the crosswalks that is for sale so TV might have been interested in it but to date has not purchased it. Also on the west side a industrial complex was approved but it is not part of TV.
