since Monday, May 23 I'm having trouble logging into CFB using my chromebook with chrome managed password. Of course I'm the only one having trouble so I have two questions: 1: anyone else having trouble and 2: is there another bank that I could go to ?

Thank You Mark

I have no problems logging
in with Win11, iPad or iPhone. Try location with browser “citizens first bank Florida”

is it possible you have an update waiting somewhere? maybe restart & try again. i do know there are certain times of day you won't be able to access acct info, something to do with updating servers, or whatever, but that info is typically posted @ the top/side of your page. (i don't use google, my pg may look different.) if not, you can try an atm nearby & see what ur acct says?

I had no problem signing in with my chromebook, but then I use LastPass.

The systems they run are clunky and poorly designed. They started a new system in June 2021……still having the same issues with new system in March 2022. Poorly organized and without much desire to change.

Sometimes after a software update, etc., password savers can "forget" or mistype userids and passwords. I find if you erase and physically retype the ID and password (provided YOU remember them) you should be ok and it will resave. If that doesn't work, I vote to call the bank.:icon_wink:

I had trouble also getting in yesterday (Thursday). I wondered at that time if anybody else was also having trouble. I clicked on “forgot password” or whatever it says. It was very easy to get a new password. I figured it was either the latest iPad update, or that after all this time, Citizens Bank figured I should be changing my password.

I agree, they need to invest more in modern IT systems and less in putting more physical bank buildings in The Villages.

They automatically require new password from time to time. Call to reset password

I always have problems logging in with my iMac, but am able to use their app on my iPhone to log in. I agree, think it is a problem with their system.I've called them numerous times, and they've never been able to fix the problem. I've opened up an account at Chase and do a lot of banking there now.

Citizens First Bank on-line is routinely off-line. I am in a constant battle with them about this. It seems their domination in TV with the largest number of locations entitles them to be arrogant and non-customer focussed. To my knowledge they have no IT.

I use Citizens for all my banking needs, basically all of them online.

I have had no problems.

The best bank I’ve ever dealt with, there customer service people whether in house or on the phone are terrific, I’ve been with them many years and never once had a bad experience

My Pet Peeve when a company decides I should update my password. Don’t block my sign in to force a password update…

Basic troubleshooting to access websites. No order to these. Some give clues about where to look into.
Try another browser.
Type ID+PW manually.
Clear cookies for that site.
Have you fully shut down and rebooted the computer? (not just put into standby)
Is your ID+PW working on a different computer?
Have you changed password recently? Are you using the right one? Try the old one.
The bank can help you on the phone.
