I removed the thermafoil from our kitchen cabinets and now need to paint the MDF core doors. Does anyone know a painting company or other contractor that does this?

Too numerous to list here, but if you go to the Search ( green bar at the top of the page) forum of TOTV and put in "paint kitchen cabinets," you will find a whole page of threads. Hope that helps.

I have never had good luck painting MDF, especially with water based paints. Please let us know how this works out and who you used.

Remove doors and lie them flat. Light sand doors, then apply an even coat of Sherwin Williams Pro Block primer, using a low nap long boy 6 in roller. Let dry, then light sand again before painting doors, 2 coats of Sherwin Williams Pro Classic semi gloss water born enamel. Use long boy for this application also. Paint is self leveling just don't get too heavy. My cabinets are painted oak and they look great after 14 years. The paint is also non yellowing. Len
