Hello, we are relatively new to the area and need to set up a network of doctors. I would like to schedule appointments for eye, hearing, dentist, and general practioner. Can anyone share their experiences and/or give me a reference for a doctor? How long does it take to set up the appointment to the actual visit? Any advice is welcome!

good day! it depends where you want to be seen, & the type of insurance you have.

Welcome. I've found specialists in Orlando for ongoing medical issues, but I like the dentist Herb Bennett in Leesburg. Excellent dental hygienist. Didn't try to sell me on expensive unnecessary things.
Villages Health primary care doctors only take certain insurances, so it really does depend.

OP, you sound like you need the villages health system, but be aware they accept ONLY 3 or 4 Medicare ADVANTAGE plans. Years ago this caused us problems, and we were able to get back to traditional Medicare and supplemental. No idea if the problems we encountered have been taken care of. You can still use many of the villages health care specialists as they tend to accpt traditional Medicare.
There is an organization called SHINE with meetings in the villages that provide UNBIASED health care information, they may be of help.
