The dispensaries where we have a home up north have the biggest sales of the year every April 20th. The lines go out the door and down the streets from open to close. Cars with license plates from surrounding states (where recreational is not yet legal) are parked everywhere. It’s a huge source of tax revenue for the local municipalities and brings lots of foot traffic to the surrounding local businesses, especially the restaurants.

It actually originated as the time people got high everyday...punch out the clock at 4 and relaxing by 420. April 20th then became the national holiday for it.

It’s a huge source of tax revenue for the local municipalities and brings lots of foot traffic to the surrounding local businesses, especially the restaurants. the legal weed Is getting better now in Massachusetts and the price is coming down some but just like in other states it’ll take time for better quality and cheaper prices . One of the hardest things to overcome is the weed has to be grown in the state this and the lack of stores have slowed the process , there are still many like myself and others who still buy from a dealer , I’ve been using the same guy for many years , he makes house calls 24/7 lol just like my guy here , but if product gets better and price goes down I’m sure I’ll be eliminating middle man
