I am setting up a photograph critiquing group on Facebook. If you or someone you know is interested in photography and would like to join, drop by (link below) and let me know.
The site is strictly for critiques. In order to post a photo to be critiqued, you must earn a post by critiquing 5 others' posts first. (This rule will be relaxed until we have enough members to keep new photo's available for everyone to earn points to be able to post.)
I learned A LOT of what little I know while I was a member of a web forum that worked this way. I found giving real critiques is HARD work, and if you put in the work to give someone a good critique the result was you learn about what you think makes a good photograph, and what others think.
I just started putting it together this morning, but if you are interested feel free to drop by and join. This is a private group. I own it, I make the rules, and rule number one is no off-topic discussions. Critiques of posted photos are the topic. the only topic. No photography discussions, no equipment discussions, NO POLITICAL comments. (Zero tolerance on political content - my ball, my rules, no second chances.)
Lurkers are welcome!
