Apparently you are unfamiliar with the rules of reporting.
If a season somewhere in the world is colder than normal, sometimes even far colder than normal, that's weather. If there is a heat wave someplace, that is more evidence of climate change.
It was well reported that 2021 was the third worst year for the number of hurricanes. However, that was just for the U.S. Worldwide, 2021 had the lowest number of hurricanes in decades. Did you read that anywhere?
I don't dispute climate change, but I object to news coverage with an agenda.

First of all, this happened in Australia, which is starting their winter season. Secondly, do some research on Global Warming/Climate Change. Global Warming/Climate Change doesn't mean that we are never going to see snow again. Partly, it means that we are going to continue to see extreme weather patterns/conditions.

Really do think that the record snow level would have been something more indicative of a major change in the climate, if it was mid-summer in Australia, and not mid-winter.

How is this possible during global warming? ... ‘There’s almost too much snow’: Snowfall breaks 44-year record on Queen’s Birthday long weekend (https://www.theage.com.au/national/victoria/there-s-almost-too-much-snow-snowfall-breaks-44-year-record-on-queen-s-birthday-long-weekend-20220611-p5at14.html) While exactly how Earth’s climate changed during the K-Pg extinction remains under debate, scientists do know that climate change today is both real and caused by human activity. Often omitted from discussions is how they know. Here are the key points leading to their conclusion:
• Air samples show that the atmospheric concentration of carbon dioxide (CO2) is rising on Earth
• CO2 absorbs infrared radiation (heat). Adding more infrared-absorbing compounds, or greenhouse gasses, to Earth’s atmosphere throws off it’s energy balance and causes the planet to absorb more energy.
• This added energy should (among other things) raise the global average temperature, increase ocean temperatures, and spur more extreme weather. Absorbed CO2 should also make the oceans more acidic. All are happening.
• Both modern and ancient air samples – the latter from air bubbles in ice cores reaching back several thousand years-confirm that the CO2 levels have spiked since the Industrial Revolution.
• The rate of atmospheric CO2 increase matches that released by human activities for the same time period.
• The relative amounts of carbon’s three isotopes-carbon 12, carbon 13, and carbon 14, in the atmosphere will be different depending on where the carbon in the CO2 comes from. Volcanoes and the burning of fossil fuels for example, will lead to different proportions of carbon 13 and carbon 14 relative to carbon 12. Chemical analysis of Earth’s atmosphere matches fossil fuels.

Assuming the poster is serious, here is a plausible explanation:
Global warming is an established fact. What we are discussing is not global warming, but global weather change.
Climate is the movement of the atmosphere above the surface of the earth. Put a pot of warm water on a burner on your stove. You can see swirling in the water. Now, turn up the heat. The swirls become deeper and more violent. In earth's atmosphere, those violent heat-induced swirls result in more frequent and violent hurricanes. Some of those violent swirls sweep cold polar down under warmer surface air in lower altitudes causing heavy rain and snow storms.
Heat energy also influences the jetstream, a major factor in climate. Have you noticed that the American west is drying and burning up?
Heat energy also plays havoc with ocean currents which dramatically influence climate - though over a longer period.
Considering that we humans are still releasing more C02 into the air every year, it is safe to say that your grandchildren are likely to experience a much more hostile, perhaps horrible world than we will leave.

First, theories are demonstratable, hypotheses are ideas.
In science theories are always challenged, seldom does a theory gets thrown out, it gets modified as new evidence shows flaws, which results in an improved theory.
Everyone should rethink their beliefs periodically. We are all prone to believing things we think are true. Scientists on the other hand have a method of updating hypotheses and theories, it's called the Scientific Method. It does not rely on beliefs, or what the janitor's cousin says.
The scientific method has improved a little bit since planets were thought to orbit the earth. And there was a bit of "religion" involved in that also, which is one reason it is so important to separate religion (faith-based beliefs) from science (fact/theory-based beliefs)
