We're here, but still unpacking

Finally, after 3 1/2 years of absentee ownership and short visits, we have moved to TV permanently. As most of you that preceeded us probably experienced, we are producing a lot of empty moving boxes, all sizes from small to dishpacks and wardrobes and all broken down. I will gladly make them available to anyone who wants to pick them up. If thats you, just PM me and we will make arrangements. In the meantime, any advice on how to best dispose of empty and broken down move boxes will be appreciated.

:a040:First welcome to Paradise. The best is yet to come. Wednesday morning is recycle day. If you put your boxes out ( broken down ) and news papers tied or in a cardboard box the garbage man will take them. They are really good about it. They will also take your cans, bottles etc in a clear plastic bag. Again welcome to TV and enjoy.

We, too, are still unpacking having just moved in a week ago. Most of the boxes have been emptied. Some of the boxes I filled with the used packing paper (about 5). The rest of the boxes (several dozen) I broke down. I put everything out on my re-cycle day and they were all gone in the AM.
