I'm new to the Villages, I live in Malory Square, and I have some palm trees and hedges to be trimmed along with seed pods that need to be removed before they drop. Can someone recommend a reliable local company for the job. Thanks!

We have a lot of palm trees, 9, and we are 100% happy with Cruz's Landscaping

Not an answer to your question, but a warning that this will be happening several times a year at a certain cost. There are other options that it took me 14 years to figure out. Removal.

Personal choice from a northerner who thought Palms were great at my entrance to The Villages. So much happier with no ugly fronds and seed pods to remove.

Queen palms need cleaning out a minimum of twice per year......usually three.

They are a continuing maintenance problem to keep them looking right and keeping the mess they make to a minimum.

Will run anywhere from $20-40 per tree depending on size (and provider).

We had 10 palms put in 18 years ago. Had them all removed a couple of years back.

A side benefit? No more palmetto/roach bugs anywhere on the property since the trees have been gone.....none!

All depends on one's preferences and tolerances.
