Canada Day - Wikipedia (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Canada_Day)
I have met quite a number of Canadians who live here in the Villages for six months or less. This has been over the 17 years since we moved here from Palm Harbor, Florida in 2005 in mid-June.
And there were various Canadians I knew while a student in a very large dorm at the University of Minnesota in 1987-1989. Was in the dorm at that time while in law school at the U of MN but there were a lot of graduate students living in the dorm. We had our own floor in the building which was nice. Some of the other 11 floors could get rather noisy. The graduate students were on the 12th floor. Middlebrook Hall | Campus Maps (https://campusmaps.umn.edu/middlebrook-hall)
Some of the graduate students came from places in Canada often much colder than the Twin Cities.
