I’m thinking of flying to Sanford airport and looking for recommendations for reliable transportation to The Villages from the airport. I understand that Workman and Groome are not options.

Tell me more. Who did you rent from and are they located on the Sanford property? Details? This would be a great option for us.

Can Victoria provide a copy of your 1 mil commercial insurance so we know your a legitimate service and registered with the state? Don't tell me your exempt because no one is exempt when operating legally.

Don’t forget your GAS. This will cost more than the rental. Besides the hassle of pickup and return.

If you use The Villages van service they will pick you up 3 or 4 hours before you depart. And they will take you to Orlando to pick up more riders or transfer you to another TV van. You can usually count on a 3 hour trip from Sanford to The Villages especially if you live above 466. They stop to let other passengers off along the way....

That’s the downside but car service will be at least double. Your time versus money

Call Safe & Secure Transportation (Julie & Mike) 352-444-0758, they are great and very reliable. I have been using them for sometime now and have no complaints.

I checked a quote in the Uber app from Wildwood to SFB. Was $101. Seems like the only straightforward way without renting, picking up and returning a car, or using a shuttle that's going to pick up and drop off 8 people along the way.

The price can vary greatly depending on time of day. My app said 141. Many more drivers at Mco than here.

Workman has no stops and comfortable vehicles. I avoid the other van services. Don’t need an hour tour of TV
