I haven't heard from "loucard" in a looooooooooong while.
Since I am not in TV, I don't have any chance to run into him. Does anybody know?
loucard, where are you dude?

Lou Card decided to discontinue participating on the forum according to his final post, which is no longer available. While searching the internet on some other subject, I accidently found that final post.
As I recall, he had a good sense of humor, which I miss.

The way I recall it Lou Card poked and prodded management till he got fired and the thread he was wigging out on was eradicated simultaneously with his dismissal.
I think management had issue with what he was posting and he had an issue with them having and issue. Things escalated for a good portion of the day, boy did they and then Lou crashed and burned.:plane:

I hope Lou is doing well, but his "card" was expired.

I remember that exchange. It seemed Lou kept egging on the management until they had no other option but to boot him off TOTV.
He ended up with most of the egg on his face though. It was not a pretty day in the Villages. Or, is that beautiful?

It was obvious that Lou burned out in Political and he carried it over to this forum. No, it wasn't pretty; actually it was pretty disappointing. It lacked the "Network" drama I think he was trying to achieve.

Thank you to everyone who posted.
I remember a post by Lou on the Healthcare issue that I thought was very well written.
Sorry to hear he is no longer a member of TOTV.

I know that I was negative about his exit strategy, but I did enjoy his posts.

I missed the health care post, was he pro or con?

I think part of the difficulty was a result of posting frequently in the political forum. I know I can't do it. A lot of us can't stand the heat and just stay out of the kitchen.
That forum isn't for gentle souls....although Lou really let us know how angry he was at the end.
Sad.
