I have a LG washer that is dripping in the tub when it is turned off. Looking for a good company or person to call to have this repaired. Appreciate any recommendations.

I have a LG washer that is dripping when it is turned off. Looking for a good company or person to call to have this repaired. Appreciate any recommendations. Had the same (or similar) problem with a Maytag. Turns out to have been the hot/cold water hoses. The water dripped behind the hose connection and couldn't be seen dripping until I stuffed some paper towels there overnight and they were wet in the morning. Thought it was the machine. New hose resolved the problem. Sometimes the problem can be a simple one, other times, not.

Google LG Service. If it's an "internal" issue, I wouldn't call a handyman but an authorized LG service company.

If you have not turned the water off to the washer I would. The leak could get worse and cause a lot of damage. One of my neighbors is dealing with the damage done from a leaky hose.

Water leaking into the tub is a bad mixing (water) valve. It normally occurs when one of the diaphragms gets a small piece of debris in the small hole near the outer diameter. It can be cleaned out and reused. Or just replace your valve.

Jerry Thibodeau he responds to calls very quickly, shows up on time and absolutely knows what he's doing.
346-233-7175 Jerry. I called for a dishwasher problem and he was there within 1/2 hour. Great service and honest!

How can connection hoses drip in the tub? It didn't. They dripped behind the metal cabinet where it surrounded the hose inputs. The floor was covered under the washer from what we thought was a leak from the tub but it turned out to be a bad hose. The water did not run behind the washer as one would expect with a leaky hose or hose washer but under it and in front. That being said, I misread his OP and read as it was dripping from under the tub not INSIDE the tub. Also, the title of his post was "DRIPPING WASHER" so that didn't help! :) Hopefully you will accept my sincere apologies for misreading the OP. :)

Sounds like your washer was mixing it up with an overseas model…
