Paradise Dog Park. Open?

Does anyone know if the Paradise Dog Park is open again. They had closed it to work on the cart paths and expand the parking lot. From my vantage point of US 27/441 yesterday, it looked like they were still doing something to the cart paths right around there.

But, the archery range next door to the Paradise Dog Park looked to be open.

I drove by the Villages archery range and they were still working on the parking lot. There was no way to get to the Paradise Dog Park via car so I guess that it is still closed.

Golf carts were having a hard time of it especially when I was trying to turn around in the car near the archery range.

The arrows are supposed to hit targets which are at the north end of the archery range. The dog park is at the south side of the archery range. You would have to be an extraordinarily bad shot for the arrow to going anywhere near the pooches.

Whew, that's good to know! I just remember archery class in high school and where some of those arrows ended up was amazing!

Sure miss all our friends and my dog hasn't sniffed a butt in a long time!
