A dog I met probably more than ten years ago here in the Villages. Or very near it.
One almost 3 feet long basset hound here in FL is the cleverest of pooches. She picks up her toy, wanders around the house trying to get one of her owners to play with her. When she finds the person she most wants to play with her, she gets aggressive with her whining to play more. Then when she really has the one person's attention she needs the most; she sneaks in and snatches up the breakfast from the person who is now looking for where this basset hound last put her dog toy. Far away from the breakfast that this canine meant to pilfer after its eater left it on the table where an almost 3 foot long basset hound has very little trouble reaching.
Maybe, this dog should be teaching the Marines tactics rather than just pirating breakfasts? Semper Fi!
