A wannabe question:

I was just wondering what happens to golf carts or cars if they are left overnight in one of the town squares?
1. Is it not allowed?
2. Will the golf cart or car be safe?
3. Will it be towed away?

I was thinking along the lines of a single person who might get ill and not be able to get their cart or car home. :(

Not completely sure, but pretty certain that leaving any vehicle overnight is a No-No.

Will it be safe? Probably, unless you leave the Crown Jewels on the floor! :jester:

Towed away? I suppose that's certainly a possibility. There are certainly many auto towing operations around, but the only probable cart towing outfit (an advertiser on TOTV) may not necessarily respond to some middle-of-the-night call from some "authority!"

Best bet is to try to avoid leaving it. If your scenario of getting sick merely means getting a ride home, somehow, I'm betting a neighbor could help you retrieve. Depends on the hour, of course! :jester:

Should that situation occur a call to Community Watch will resolve your problem.

Probably avoiding the seventh scotch and water would avoid the problem.......

Bogie Shooter.

I would be blind after taking the fifth! :D Pun intended.

I thought when I posted that someone would be thinking along these lines. All in good fun!!!

Calling Community Watch would be good. Having the phone number for Community Watch listed in your cell phone is a good idea.

There is also the Villages Taxi. I don't know anything about their schedules, etc.

I've seen carts and cars left in the Squares overnight before. I used to have a neighbor who frequently left his cart in various locations and then couldn't remember where he left it. Sometimes they'd tow it, the majority of time it would be there for 2 or 3 days.

If you happen to leave your car or cart when an event is going to happen, there's no question it will be moved. Otherwise, a note or a call to Community Watch should do the trick to leave it overnight.
